Purpose & Scope

This is central engagement page for regulatory work associated with the ISO Tariff Redesign Initiative. Once business engagement on the individual workstreams has concluded, related workstreams will now converge here, providing stakeholders with a single location to access information, review proposed ISO tariff Terms and Conditions amendments, and provide feedback.

The AESO is providing notice and seeking feedback from stakeholders on the development of proposed amendments to Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, Rate STS, Rider J and Appendix A of the ISO tariff (listed in the table above), as well as on the proposed CADG definitions by September 4, 2026. This first round of proposed amendments result from the TRP and Amendments for the Connection Process engagement workstreams. Feedback on the changes proposed and the TRP design has completed and is therefore out of scope.

    We invite stakeholders to provide their feedback on the Transmission Reinforcement Payment (TRP) and Amendments for the Connection Process (ACP) proposed ISO tariff Terms and Conditions revisions via the following stakeholder feedback form by end of day September 4. 

    Feedback is limited to ensuring we have accurately reflected the design and changes we have previously engaged on. Thank you for your input.

    To provide guidance for reading the proposed ISO tariff Terms and Conditions that reflect the implementation of the TRP and ACP that have been developed as part of the Tariff Redesign engagements, we have developed a guide containing supporting context.

    Instructions

    1. This feedback is open to all industry stakeholders.
    2. Please fill out the feedback form as indicated.
    3. Only one completed feedback form will be accepted per organization.
    4. To upload your completed feedback form:
      • You will need to be registered and signed in on the AESO Engage platform; and
      • Click on the "Submit feedback here" box to upload your completed feedback form.
