April 7 - 9, 2026 | Workshop 1

Purpose

• Present the longlist of rate design options,
• Explore the trade‑offs among them, and
• Work with stakeholders to narrow the list to six to eight viable choices for further analysis (shortlist).

This session is intended for those familiar the Internal Demand Rates material already published on AESO Engage. Attendees are expected to:

• Review the materials shared in March as well as the stakeholder submitted rate design options
• Come prepared to present their organization's view on the rate design options provided (the longlist)
• Actively collaborate in the workshop to compare and narrow the set of options.

December 10, 2025 | Benefit of Service Study Stakeholder Session

Purpose

To present the consultants’ methodology, data, and findings from the recent Benefit of Service Study (BOSS) and provide stakeholders with a live opportunity to ask questions. We aim to equip stakeholders with context needed to provide informed feedback on this report.

The AESO hosted a virtual stakeholder session on April 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to ask questions and ensure alignment prior to commissioning studies and seeking the next round of written feedback.
