Comment Period: December 17, 2025 to January 19, 2026

We value stakeholder input and invite stakeholders to provide comments on the Fast Frequency Response (FFR) High-Level Design Update by January 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. MT.

Purpose

This round of written comments is optional and will inform the detailed product and procurement design to be developed in 2026, subject to AUC guidance.  All comments will be included in the original format received as part of our reference question application to the AUC requesting guidance on whether the proposed high-level design reasonably considers the four principles (reliability, technical feasibility, cost and the principles of fairness, efficiency and open competition) in the Electric Utilities Act and is in the public interest. Stakeholders can also participate in the AUC process.

Instructions

1. This comment form is open to all industry stakeholders.
2. Only one completed comment form will be accepted per organization.
3. To submit your completed comment form:
   • You will need to be registered and signed in on the AESO Engage platform;
