Purpose

Following stakeholder discussions during the October 22 & 23 TRP & Amendments for the AESO Connection Process workshops, we have expanded the scope and timing of the feedback request related to the Amendments for the AESO Connection Process workstream. We invite interested stakeholders to provide comments by November 20, 2025.

1. To submit your responses, you will need to be registered and signed in on the AESO Engage platform. 
2. Please click on the "Submit Feedback Here" box below to begin the survey and provide your specific comments. 
3. Please submit one completed survey per organization. 
4. All responses will be shared on AESO Engage.

Commitment Charge

The following questions are related to the Commitment Charge as presented during the TRP & Amendments for the AESO Connection Process workshops on Oct. 22 - 23, 2025. Please provide rationale for all your responses.

1. Do you have comments on the $30,000 / MW charge?

2. Do you have comments on using the sum of the requested STS and DTS MW to calculate the commitment charge?

3. Do you prefer cash payment, financial security, or have no preference? (choose all that apply) 

4. Do you have comments on refunding the commitment charge upon cancellation if AUC approvals are denied?

5. Do you see any risks or situations (including potential disproportionate impacts on certain project types or market participants) that could arise from the design of the commitment charge and have unintended implications?
