Purpose

Pursuant to Alberta Utilities Commission Rule 017, Procedures and Process for Development of ISO Rules and Filing of ISO Rules with the Alberta Utilities Commission (“AUC Rule 017”), the AESO is seeking stakeholder feedback related to the proposed amendment to the “inflexible block” definition. The survey will be open for comments on AESO Engage until August 13, 2026. 

We value your input and invite all interested stakeholders to provide their comments on, or raise any concerns with, the proposed amendment to the “inflexible block” definition.

Responses to Stakeholder Comments

In accordance with AUC Rule 017, the AESO will post all comments it receives, provide written responses, and post those responses on AESO Engage.
