• Focus on REM, OTP & ISO Tariff Redesign

Purpose

To improve transparency and facilitate stakeholder participation, the AESO is sharing its roadmap of planned engagement activities for 2025. The AESO’s objectives are to:

• Increase stakeholder awareness of upcoming engagement opportunities in advance
• Enable stakeholders to coordinate their involvement and allocate resources
• Support meaningful and effective collaboration

This is our proposed plan for engagement activities related to the Restructured Energy Market (REM), Optimal Transmission Planning (OTP), and ISO tariff. As we engage with stakeholders and learn more, we may adjust activities and schedules. Any changes will be updated in the plan and posted accordingly.

In addition to REM, OTP, and ISO tariff, we will expand this plan to include activities related to grid reliability, markets, ISO rules, and Alberta Reliability Standards. Stay tuned for more updates.
